Today seemed like a good day to concentrate on all things small. Here are some really tiny flowers that prove Spring is right around the corner. These flowers are about the size of my pinky nail…

and the exposed plant roots nearby looked interesting too… also very small.

Our cat, Ashes, is very entertaining. He loves water which is very uncatlike. He loves to play with it, drink it and doesn’t mind getting wet. We have a drippy faucet in the downstairs bathroom, and Ashes will “ask” to go in there if the door is closed. He prefers to drink from the faucet than his water bowl.

Here is some more texture, but this time it’s wood. There’s a really cool abandoned building not far from where I live that has lots of photo opps. Perhaps one day, I will even photograph the entire building. However, for now you only get to see it in pieces. This photo is the wood board that covers one of the second story windows. I just love the color and texture…

This is one partial side of the building which has lots of wood. I wish I could go inside the building, but it probably isn’t safe.

Tuesday seemed like a good day to take some texture photos. This mossy grass growing on a brick wall seems to have some good texture. I decided to get in really close and use my macro lens. Besides, I need to use it more often to justify the purchase 😉
